Introduction to Mythology – Reading Guide

Good morning & Happy Saturday!

I have been playing around with a few ways for you to discuss the book! For the introduction, I thought we could try out padlet – which is an online space where we can have a structured discussion.

Remember, all the rules that I set up in our classroom previously for online discussions and in person discussion remains. You must be polite and kind. If you disagree with something, you must be able to speak about it in an educated manner. If you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything.

The goal is for you to learn from the book and to be able to use the knowledge in future classes!

So, I have set up a KWL chart to discuss what you knew before reading, what you want to learn, and what you did learn! Follow this link to get to the padlet! Start leaving comments are soon as you are done reading! I will do my best to read and respond to comments, but feel free to also respond to your peers. Again, remember to respond in order to start a solid, academic conversation. This IS NOT a space to bully, or goof around!

I can’t wait to see what you have to say! See you on the pad!

**If you know a student who did not have me, but who is interested in joining the discussion, share this page with them! **
