Day 1: We will begin the week with a spelling test that has a focus on the root “equa”. Then we will begin a new list and observation: “Understand that many English words have Greek and Latin roots such as ‘form’ meaning shape.
Day 2: We will take the day to review short answer structures and practices based on feedback that I have given you from your quarter one independent and various quick writes throughout the semester at this point. This will also work as a review day for your AMSND test that will take place in the second half of the week.

- Go back and look at past quizzes
- Check out this page on Sparknotes
- Re-read sections you struggled with on quizzes
- Watch Acts on YouTube
Day 3: The first day of testing will be multiple choice questions that look at characters, plot, and details. These will be answered on a bubble answer form. You will need a pencil with you in class.
Day 4: The second day of testing will involve short answer questions that look at theme and plot.
Monday: We will start the week with a final day of research and work for you mini annotated bibliography for your research on global health problems. Your annotated bibliography is due to Google Classroom by Monday, November 4th by 11:59pm to Google Classroom.
Tuesday: I will introduce the social media campaign element of the project in class and we will work on brainstorming what it will look like for your project. I will NOT be having you make social media sites, but rather you will need to explain and write up a pitch for the campaign.
Thursday and Friday: To wrap up the week, you will work on your social media campaign pitch! Your pitch will take place on Monday, November 11th in class. You will have 5 minutes to share your pitch.
